Find That After Thanksgiving Sale Early
**This information is all over the Internet. But I've done the searching for you, and this is not a duplicate.**
Traditionally, the first Black Friday ads to surface in late October are from Ace Hardware, Harbor Freight, Kmart and Sears, and at the time of this writing all but Ace have their ads out (this can change any minute). They announce them to certain websites that list the store specials and sales with links to coupon codes and better prices.
You don’t want to go blindly out to the stores and then see what they have on sale, especially without your coupon codes (codes you enter online and it gives you an even better price, plus the coupon discount, on certain items). You do want to find out what the specials and sales are and where they are before you go. This is true whether you’re shopping online or at the physical store locations, although searching online is so fast and easy, now. It’s just better to have a plan.
Tons of Black Friday Sales
There are a lot of websites out there that claim to be the first ones to have their ads out, but there’s one that lives up to it’s word by including the best. BlackFriday.info is a great first place to look. It’s links all lead to other sites, but they’re sites you want to see, the ones with the first ads out.
One link takes you to BFAds.net. Here one can find a wealth of things to like, such as, a new ad posted almost every day and from more than one store after November 3rd.
There’s an Adscans section that has the current deals available in .zip or .PDF formats ready for download so you can look at them at your leisure offline. Full color catalogs can be seen this way, as is the case with the 2009 Toys R Us Big Book of Toys.
If you click on Black Friday Coupons, you go to Retailmenot.com (a great place!) where the coupons are listed with additional offers besides the coupon codes they give you. Click on “50+ Coupon Codes” by each store name and it takes you to a page that has the 50+ codes and even more offers and free shipping, in many cases.
Online Shopping is Growing
A recent BFAds.net poll reports that 54% of responders said they will shop both online and in stores, 32% will shop strictly online, and 15% said they’ll do all of their shopping in stores, which is not surprising.
Here’s a few of the ads Macy’s put out. These are only SOME of them!
Puma Baby Boy 3pc. Box Set Regular $20, with coupon code $7.99
Van Hueson dress shirts for men Regular $36,with coupon code $16.99
Bostonian Tahoe Regular $115, with coupon code $59.99
And, Macy’s is offering free shipping for orders over $99. Look for shipping deals on all the sites you shop at.
Here’s what some stores are offering on top of their Black Friday specials: They all have over 50 coupon codes on top of these deals, so don‘t be shy, dig in there and click to see what they've got for you:
Kohl’s 20% off orders of $75 or more
Macy’s Free shipping for orders over $99
Sears $25 off orders of $300 or more
Gap Extra 20% off entire purchase
Banana Republic Free shipping with LUXE card purchases

RetailMeNot.com is more than a Black Friday site. Bookmark that one for year-round updates and coupons.
A Couple More Black Friday Online Shopping Sites
Black-Friday.net is expecting daily ads coming out in early November, too. This site boasts that they post ‘em before they come out in the Thanksgiving Day newspaper circulars. There’s a list on the right of all 81 stores they keep coupons for listed alphabetically, and if there’s no coupons under the major store you clicked on, it will offer to notify you via email when they do come out.
TheBlack-Friday.com contains Black Friday News Headlines, a hot toy list, most recently posted ads and a list of major stores too many to count. There’s a list of 10 Hot Online Deals link, which takes you to dealsofamerica.com, where you’ll find deals all the time, not just for Black Friday.
Be Safe, Shop Well, and most of all, Have Fun!
